    Hello

    Update 11001 :

    • The screen freezes and goes to white screen, then the system restarts.

    • The steering wheel controls and joysticks cannot control the audio system.

    • DTC U3000:49 is stored and may be accompanied by the following symptoms.

    - No sound comes from the speakers.

    - Audio source selection is not available.

    • When using navigation with head-up mode, the vehicle icon rotates.

    • A beep will sound after a few minutes.

    • The language setting may not be accepted correctly.

    • The Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR) system may not display the correct speed limit.

    • When you press the mute button, the audio track may not stop.

    • The system restarts.

    • When you try to play a video file on the connected USB device, the screen may turn black.

    Hello

Thank you, I advance the fact that a .spc file does not need to be updated and that to update the speed cameras you need a .txt file from the country concerned

The problem remains unresolved in France and Switzerland since a blockage in the software, a sys.txt file probably, locks speed cameras in France and Switzerland.

This Sys.txt file being in the Connect 2 and not in the SD card, only a script on a USB key (As on Connect 1) would allow the lock to be lifted.

    Hello

Yes there are different configuration menus for Connect 2 in EU depending on the country.

For France and Switzerland the setup speaks of "Danger zones" and for the other countries the setup speaks of "Radars".

I can show you the photos of a Spanish internet user and mine and you will see the difference. This is due to the prohibition to display speed cameras in France and Switzerland.

Yes I have an original France.spc file in the SD card. It must contain speed cameras (or danger zones), but how to update it?

I know where to find a speedcam.txt file with up-to-date speed cameras for France (and all of the EU).
I tried to rename the speedcam.txt file (for France) to France.txt and copy this new France.txt to the SD card ....
The system creates a speedcam.spdb file but nothing is displayed ....
I have in the SD card: France .spc (original), France .txt (copied by me), and speedcam.spdb (created by the browser) and of course all the other .spc of the EU.

    Hello

I understood the limitation of the type of files that can be used on the forum server ... This explains why after rename and analysis, your France.txt file is the same as my France.spc file from my original SD.

I know what a xxxxx.txt file should contain and I know where to download it or how to make it.

What I would like to know now is:

    - How to create an xxxx.spc file

    - How to remove the speed camera display limitation for France and Switzerland since we do not have the same setup menu in MZD Connect 2 as the other EU countries.

    Thank you

Renommez le fichier France.txt en France.spc et copiez-le dans le dossier Speedcam.

    Hello

    Thank you.

How do you create the France.txt file or update it.

When I look at your France.txt file with an editor, I see that it is 100% identical to the France.spc file that I have on my original SD card.

    Thank you for your information.

    Regards

YES, the France.txt or speedcam.txt file must contain all the speed cameras in the designated region ... in a format: X, Y, TYPE, SPEED, DIRTYPE, DIRECTION

    I advance slowly, but I advance ...

    1) I put a France.txt file and a speedcam.spdb file was created by the system .... The original France.spc file in the SD-nav has not moved.

The speed cameras are not displayed by viewing a place on the screen where I know there is a speed camera (I did not go there physically to check)

    2) I deleted the France.spc file and put a speedcam.txt file

The system has created a speedcam.spdb file

The speed cameras are not displayed by viewing a place on the screen where I know there is a speed camera (I did not go there physically to check)

Can you in Germany display speed cameras on the screen by moving the cursor to a place where you know there is a speed camera?

    In France on my CX3 2017 and CX5 2016 I could do it, I don't know if it is possible on CX30 2020 ...

As the navigation software seems to be an IGO 9.35.2.xxx

There may be a setting that blocks the display of speed cameras in France and Switzerland due to the law.

I read on another forum (https://lufop.net) that it was necessary to modify the sys.txt file to authorize the speed cameras but I do not know where this file is .... it is not in the SD_nav card.

Can you put a photo of your configuration screen to display speed cameras or danger zones?

(This so that I can see if we have the same settings screen).

    Thank you

    Hello

Thank you to both of you for your answers

    Maverick

How do you change german.txt to german.spc

    nowodka

It does not work, I renamed and copied the France.txt file as indicated above and the speed cameras are not reported.

Note: I compared my france.spc file from my original SD-nav card with your France.txt file and they are 100% the same files (comparison made with Hex Workshop)

    Bonjour

    Hello

Thanks to you 2 for your help.

What are the exact names of the 2 files with their extentions?

    On the CX3 2017 and the CX5 2016 it was speedcam.txt and speedcam.spdb and I didn't have the france.spc file

    There, on the CX30 I have the france.spc file ! ! !

I will try to put speedcam.txt and speedcam.spdb that I had on the CX5 and remove france.spdb and I will keep you informed.

Note: On the CX3 and CX5 to obtain the speedcam.spdb file I executed a script on a USB key containing speedcam.txt.
The script wrote speedcam.spdb and speedcam.txt to the SD-Nav card and it worked. I have not tried the script on the CX30.
