  • Hello

Yes there are different configuration menus for Connect 2 in EU depending on the country.

For France and Switzerland the setup speaks of "Danger zones" and for the other countries the setup speaks of "Radars".

I can show you the photos of a Spanish internet user and mine and you will see the difference. This is due to the prohibition to display speed cameras in France and Switzerland.

Yes I have an original France.spc file in the SD card. It must contain speed cameras (or danger zones), but how to update it?

I know where to find a speedcam.txt file with up-to-date speed cameras for France (and all of the EU).
I tried to rename the speedcam.txt file (for France) to France.txt and copy this new France.txt to the SD card ....
The system creates a speedcam.spdb file but nothing is displayed ....
I have in the SD card: France .spc (original), France .txt (copied by me), and speedcam.spdb (created by the browser) and of course all the other .spc of the EU.

  • Hello

Thank you, I advance the fact that a .spc file does not need to be updated and that to update the speed cameras you need a .txt file from the country concerned

The problem remains unresolved in France and Switzerland since a blockage in the software, a sys.txt file probably, locks speed cameras in France and Switzerland.

This Sys.txt file being in the Connect 2 and not in the SD card, only a script on a USB key (As on Connect 1) would allow the lock to be lifted.
